For the past 30 years I have worked and taught in the insurance industry. I hold a 215 Life, Health and Annuities license and the LUTCF designation, along with a 220 General Lines Property and Casualty license and the CSA designation. I spent 15 years at Mutual of Omaha, finishing as general manager for the state of MN overseeing 40 agents and managers. I taught at FSCJ for 6 years, focusing on pre-licensing and CE courses in Property and Casualty as well as Life, Health and Annuities. I opened my own agency, First Coast Insurance Solutions, and sold over 1.3M in premium within 3 years. For the next 10 years I worked as an educator and Jacksonville franchise owner of Hilda Tucker Insurance School. Since then I have started 3 companies: 1st Coast School, Sunshine State School of Insurance, and North FLA Agency. I am committed to a high standard of excellence and to building a firm relationship of mutual trust and service in everything I do.

I have worked in the Financial Services industry for more than 40 years, with several insurance companies and banks in the area. I earned my L/H license in the 70s and the LUTCF designation. I taught LUTC classes for over 10 years with the American College while earning my CLU. I have held a P/C license for over 40 years, spending more than 20 years with Allstate as an Agent, Field Manager, and Regional Training Manager. Thanks to my training role and past experience, I also earned my CIC designation, working alongside many independent agencies and being approved to teach CIC classes with the PIA/National Alliance.

I have also taught pre-licensing classes for 8 years in South Florida, and for the last 12 years here in Jacksonville with the Sunshine State School, a former franchisee with Hilda Tucker Insurance School, before setting up 1st Coast School — the only insurance school with classroom training in the North Florida area!
